The Quantum Ecosystem Technology Council of India (QETCI) is a not-for-profit organisation working to accelerate and enable India's quantum technology ecosystem. QETCI connects government, academia, industry, and startups to build policy, talent, and infrastructure for India's quantum future.

QETCI is seeking a Senior Policy Researcher for its Quantum Technology Policy Programme. Applicants should have at least four years of experience in tech policy, with relevant work in the Indian ecosystem, another national ecosystem, or a background in quantum science paired with an aptitude for policy writing. The candidate should write clearly, take an analytical approach to policy and technology, manage research projects, and be comfortable working independently.

The successful applicant will conduct primary and secondary research on quantum policy issues, and engage stakeholders across academia, industry, and government to inform QETCI's work. Duties include drafting policy papers and commentary, coordinating with research partners, organising workshops and events, and supporting programme delivery.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in science and engineering, international relations, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in policy or in quantum, with an aptitude for writing, is preferred.
  • Good writing and research skills, with an aptitude and interest for in-depth research in a relevant field.
